Michelle L. Sagert
Michelle is an experienced trial lawyer who practices in the areas of Family, Estates and Personal Injury. Michelle has acted for clients at all levels of Court including B.C. Supreme Court, the B.C. Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Michelle prides herself on being a fierce but practical advocate who is willing to utilize her courtroom skills and trial experience to ensure her clients receive the result they deserve.
Michelle enjoys working on complex matters including family law and estate matters with various business interests and holdings. In her personal injury practice, Michelle routinely acts for clients who have suffered brain injuries, chronic pain, paralysis and other catastrophic injuries.
Michelle was born and raised in Abbotsford and has deep roots there. She attended the University of the Fraser Valley before going on to law school. Michelle graduated law school at the top of her class and received numerous awards for academic achievement.
In her spare time Michelle enjoys cooking, travelling and trying to convince her husband to adopt another senior animal.
Michelle enjoys giving back to the community and was recently appointed by the province to the Abbotsford Police Board. Michelle is also a member of the Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Forum.
