Amy K. Sidhu
Amy is a partner in our Abbotsford and Chilliwack offices and a member of our business law, banking law and real estate development groups.
In her business law practice, Amy advises and assists business clients throughout their company’s life cycle, from initial formation to the preparation of shareholder, partnership and commercial agreements, reorganizations, asset and share purchases and dissolutions. Amy represents clients in a wide range of sectors including agriculture, development, industrial and service professionals.
In her real estate development practice, Amy represents developers of residential and commercial developments for projects ranging from subdivisions, airspace parcel developments, mixed-use, rentals and strata properties, handling the initial preparation and filing of disclosure statements, registration of legal encumbrances and plans through to the completion of the project and transfer of individual properties to their new owners.
Amy also acts for lenders, including banks, credit unions and private lenders, as well as borrowers in commercial loan transactions.
Amy was born and raised in Abbotsford. After completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Victoria in 2008 she went on to complete her law degree at the University of British Columbia in 2012. Amy articled at a law firm in downtown Vancouver and, after being called to the bar in 2013, she returned home to the Fraser Valley and joined the Waterstone team.
Outside of the office, Amy enjoys yoga and sports and can be found spending time with her family and friends.
