Magda is a partner in our Abbotsford and Langley offices and an integral part of our business law and banking law groups.
As a member of our business law group, Magda advises businesses in all stages of their life cycle, from formation to reorganization and dissolution. She also negotiates and prepares commercial agreements, including leases and asset and share purchases.
As a member of our banking law group, Magda acts for both lenders and borrowers, advising on a wide range of lending transactions, from traditional mortgages to alternative and innovative financing structures.
Magda is a resident of Abbotsford and actively involved in the community through her association with various young professionals groups. She has a passion for introducing business owners to one another and to professionals within the Valley.
Magda is originally from Poland, and spent time in Denmark and Manitoba before moving to British Columbia. She worked as a legal assistant while obtaining her Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 2006. After a brief time in commercial banking, Magda went on to attend law school at the University of Victoria, which she completed in May 2010. Magda joined Waterstone Law Group as a student in September 2010 and as an associate after being called to the bar in 2011.
Outside of the office, Magda enjoys spending her time boating, surfing, or simply floating on the nearest body of water, or pursuing any number of athletic endeavors.
