Clint is a partner in Waterstone Law Group LLP, practicing primarily out of our Langley office in the areas of business law and real estate. He has significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance and all aspects of real estate transactions.
In his business law practice, Clint acts for several hundred companies providing advice in corporate matters ranging from the preparation of contracts to tax driven corporate reorganizations. He also acts for several pubs and liquor stores and has gained expertise in dealing with the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch and all other aspects of this niche business. Clint also acts for several financial institutions and private lenders in the preparation and registration of security documentation. Clint recognizes the importance of providing practical advice that is relevant to his client’s business and tailored to their particular needs.
In Clint’s real estate practice, he acts for several developers of both residential and commercial developments, as well as for individuals purchasing their own home. In addition to typical residential transfers and financing, Clint routinely handles a variety of real estate transactions, including the development of bare strata plans, shopping center and other commercial property acquisitions, office tower buy-outs and subdivisions.
Clint has lived in Langley for over 10 years and places a high value on community involvement. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Langley Chamber of Commerce and the South Fraser Home Support Society, he was a volunteer lawyer for the BC Games for the Disabled when they were held in Langley and for the B.C. Summer Games Society for the games held in Langley in 2010.
Clint was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, and grew up in Port Coquitlam. He attended Simon Fraser University where he studied Political Science and Economics before obtaining his law degree from the University of British Columbia. After graduation, Clint articled with one of Vancouver’s largest law firms before joining Waterstone Law Group LLP in 1996. Clint joined the partnership of Waterstone Law Group LLP in January 2004.
Outside of the office, Clint is a huge sports fan and plays ice hockey on a regular basis. He is an avid golfer and tries to play at least once a week in a frustrating bid to lower his handicap. Clint also is a big poker fan and played in the 2005 World Series of Poker.
