New Student Profile: Brydan Heisler

Published by Waterstone Law Group

Hello! My name is Brydan Heisler and I’m an articling student at Waterstone. I grew up right here in Chilliwack and am thrilled to be moving back to the beautiful Fraser Valley. I’ve been gone for a little while – I played NCAA lacrosse for Walsh University down in Ohio, and then attended law school at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. However, I never forgot how much I loved home. Living in Chilliwack allows me to enjoy my favourite hobbies: Mountain biking, hiking, playing hockey, climbing, and exploring the outdoors with my favourite furry friend, Ranger!

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given comes from my dad: Never be afraid of doing things a little differently. The beaten path isn’t always the best one!

If I was a superhero, my superpower would be to freeze time. You can never have enough!

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d start a coffee shop that also sold used books (two things I love). And of course, I’d still be working here!

If I could invent a holiday, I would give everyone the Monday off after the Super Bowl. I eat too many snacks to work the next day!
