Jessica focuses her practice on estate planning, estate administration, and trusts. Jessica is primarily based in our Langley office and can also assist clients in our Abbotsford and Chilliwack offices.
Jessica has experience with the many complications that can arise in estate planning, including family law considerations, blended families, beneficiaries with disabilities, business and farm owner succession, and probate reduction.
Jessica understands that the area of estate law can be complex and difficult to navigate. She approaches estate planning holistically, conducting a thorough review of the client’s family and financial circumstances. She then educates clients on the benefits and drawbacks of available strategies before recommending an appropriate plan in the circumstances. Her clients complete the estate planning process with greater clarity, confidence and peace of mind.
In her estate and trust administration practice, Jessica advises personal representatives, trustees and beneficiaries on applications for representative grants, the administration of complex asset structures, and passings of accounts.
Prior to joining Waterstone Law Group LLP, Jessica acted as an estate planning consultant in the Fraser Valley for Canada’s leading wealth management firm. Preceding that role, she practiced estates and trusts law in the Vancouver office of one of the world’s largest law firms.
Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2012 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Calgary in 2015. She was called to the Bars of both Alberta and British Columbia in 2016.
