Michael is an associate in our Langley office, practicing in the area of family law.  He assists clients with issues related to child support, spousal support, property division, child custody, cohabitation agreements, separation agreements and divorce applications.

Michael was born in New Westminster and raised in Abbotsford, BC.  He completed his Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of British Columbia, majoring in both Philosophy and Sociology. Following his undergraduate degree, Michael spent two years working at a background and reference checking company as a Client Coordinator before leaving beautiful BC to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a lawyer.  Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law, surviving three Prairie winters in the process.

Michael strives to maintain a practice focused on his client’s best interests, taking into account each client’s unique needs and circumstances in coming to a cost-effective resolution.  Michael appears regularly in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Outside of the office, Michael takes pleasure in spending as much time as possible with family and friends in the great outdoors. Michael enjoys camping and barbecuing, in addition to participating in various team activities such as hockey, baseball, and soccer. Michael is also an avid Vancouver Canucks fan.
