Jorie is an associate in our Chilliwack office who has a general civil litigation practice.
Born and raised in Chilliwack, Jorie obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Calgary in 2013, and her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2016. After graduation, Jorie articled and practiced at two national law firms and a litigation boutique in Vancouver, gaining experience in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including estate disputes, employment claims, class actions, and commercial disputes involving complex contract and tort claims. Prior to joining Waterstone, Jorie most recently practiced as litigation counsel at the British Columbia Securities Commission.
In her litigation practice, Jorie is committed to understanding the facts and nuances of her clients’ legal issues early on, in order to provide practical and strategic advice to resolve a given dispute.
Outside of the office, Jorie enjoys dirt biking, paddle boarding, and spending as much time as possible with her friends, family, and dogs.
