Michelle Sagert Successfully Prevents the Relocation of Children in Family Law Matter

After a lengthy trial Michelle Sagert obtained judgment in favour of her client which prevented her client’s 2 children from being relocated to Kamloops with the other parent. The opposing party sought to relocate the Children to Kamloops from Mission, B.C. and obtained two expert reports to support her position.

Michelle successfully argued that the expert reports should not be considered and that the children should remain in Mission where her client continues to live. In addition to the children remaining in Mission, Michelle also successfully argued that her client should have primary parenting time. Michelle also obtained a costs order for her client.
