What area is affected by the proposed NCP?
The Terms of Reference specify that the West Clayton area is broken down into two distinct areas:
NCP Area #1 is bounded by the Fraser Highway to the south, the boundary of the ALR to the west, 76th Ave. to the north, and 188th St. to the east. It consists of roughly 445 acres.
NCP Area #2 is bounded by 76th Ave to the south, the boundary of the ALR to the west and north, 80th Ave. to the north, and 188th St. to the east. It consists of roughly 80 acres.
The City has indicated that because of servicing requirements, and in particular, the connection to the sewage system, development of Area #1 will proceed first, followed at a later time by Area #2. Detailed timing is not yet available from the City.
