Daniel Sorensen

Daniel is an associate in our Chilliwack office, working primarily in the areas of general and commercial litigation and employment law.

In his litigation practice, Daniel has experience in a wide array of matters such as builder’s liens, construction issues, commercial contract disputes, home and commercial insurance claims and personal injury claims. Daniel also handles matters relating to real estate disputes.

Daniel also acts in the area of employment law, representing both employers and employees in matters including wrongful dismissal claims, human rights claims, contract and policy development, employment standards complaints and workers’ compensation claims.

Daniel first joined our firm as a summer student in 2007. He returned to article with us and joined the firm as an associate in 2009.

Daniel was born in Odense, Denmark, and has strong local roots after being raised in Chilliwack, BC. Daniel completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Political Science from the University of Victoria in 2003. Following this, Daniel spent a year interning with non-profits, and eventually worked as a Youth Liaison for Elections BC during the May 2005 General Provincial Election. In 2008 Daniel obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria.
